Tucson Mountain Park - Sonoran Desert Weedwackers

Join the Sonoran Desert Weedwackers and do your part in restoring the health of the desert in Tucson Mountain Park. Weedwackers work within Tucson Mountain Park for approximately 3 hours. Each month the volunteer weed warriors work to eradicate buffelgrass and other exotic weeds. Coordinators will provide instruction on plant identification and proper techniques for removal. Gloves and digging bars are provided. Bring water, snacks, a hat, sunscreen, and sturdy shoes. Munchies are always appreciated for snacking after the digging.
